Long standing buddies Gus Hunt and Henry Gosling began making music as a means of passing the time and having something to do on a an otherwise dreary Wednesday night. A simple setup, armed with only two instruments – a guitar and a drum kit, the duo go about their song writing as if it were an extension of their everyday life.
With their debut album “Exotic Goldfish Blues”, being released at the end of 2013 and receiving glowing reviews, the duo have built up a solid local fan base and established themselves as a tangible force within the Australian music scene while also playing alongside a range of international acts such as Lou Barlow (Dinosaur Jr, Sebadoh, Folk Implosion), Wild Flag and Sonny and the Sunsets.
Not an ode to any particular band, genre or era Unity Floors' is the product of two guys simply writing songs and playing scrappy rock music in their lounge room.
Returning to the studio in early 2016, Unity Floors are back with their second album "Life Admin" to be released on September 23rd.
