Major Leagues News

New single from Major Leagues

Brisbane garage pop four-piece Major Leagues return with their new video and single 'It Was Always You'. Produced by acclaimed Australian artist and Popfrenzy label mate Jonathan Boulet, the single is the first taste of the band's forthcoming debut album out mid-year. The single will be supported by intimate live dates in Brisbane and Sydney this April.

About the song, "I wrote the basic melody under Jaimee's house last year before we demo’d songs for the album. But we didn't finish writing all our parts until right before we went into The Plutonium to record the actual album. It was really great working with Jono, particularly on this song cause its structure is so simple. It needed a little fleshing out and Jono had some great ideas.” - Anna

Upcoming Shows
April 20 - The Foundry (Brisbane)
April 27 - Golden Age Cinema & Bar (Sydney)
April 29 - Oxford Art Factroy, Rare Finds 2nd Birthday (Sydney)

Popfrenzy are very excited to be bringing out LA natives, Bleached are coming to Australia for the very first time this spring.

Cutting their teeth - and most likely getting a few bruises scrambling around LA dives as part of cult punk outfit, Mika Miko, Jess and Jen Clavin went on to form Bleached, recruiting Micayla Grace on bass duties.
