Over two years in the making Surf City are set to release their debut long player Kudos this upcoming September.
Updating the psych haze of the Spacemen 3 with the circular drone of Animal Collective and the off kilter melodies of The Clean with the drive of Interpol, Surf City is the perfect mix of everything you loved about the early 80's New Zealand jangle and the 60's blur of Velvets and Zombies with the shapeshifting songwriting of today. This is an album indie guitar pop fans have been dying since the band first emerged on the scene with their EP three years ago.
To support the album release the band are returning to our shores playing four shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
